Supported Browsers & Systems
The following systems & browsers have been tested:
Landmap Kaia supports Windows XP, Vista, 8; Mac OS X
Firefox 3.6.12; Internet Explorer 7 & 8, Google Chrome 4.0 & Opera 10.10. Users report Kaia will work in Internet Explorer 9 compatibility mode.
Users having version 9.0.1 of Firefox (Mac/Windows) browser might face issues in accessing the Kaia portal itself. We shall keep you posted on this.

- Discover the Optical & Thermal, Radar, Elevation and Feature Collections
- Search using keywords, date or spatial extent
- Browse collections using the data tree (recommended).
- Collections visible are based on the licenses your institution has agreed to.

2. View |

- Preview the data interactively using WMS
- Change the opacity to view between overlaid data layers
- Use simple interactive tools to explore the data

3a) Download - Get Original Image |
 |
- Download all of the data with the 'Get Original Image' button
- The only download mechanism for accessing Modern and Historic Aerial Photography
- XML metadata file delivered with the data when clicking 'Get Original Image' button

3b) Download - Clip, Zip, Ship |
 |
- Choose the number of spectral bands to download
- Refine the spatial extent
- Submit your data request by email and receive a data link via your inbox

3c) Download - Export Features |
 |
- Search for Map Layers in the Search Panel
- Refine the spatial extent in the Filter Panel
- Export feature data in GML, Shapefile or KML
|
Individual Registration
You need to be registered for the Landmap Service and agree to the terms and conditions to use the Landmap Kaia download facility.
