New Landmap Website
Submitted 10th February 2010
Landmap is pleased to launch the new website to the academic community. This is a major overhaul of our last website with many big changes including a new Learning Zone and New Kaia Download interface (test version only). We have undertaken this change in the hope of providing a better user experience and provide improved access to resources.
The new website has the following new features which may aid in resource discovery:-
- Improved Site Map - If you do get lost just click onto the Site Map link to the top right of all of the website pages.
- Kaia Download - Would you like to look more closely at an image? Then use the interactive mapping facilities to preview data prior to download.
- Learning Zone - Help for both lecturers/teachers and students/researcher.
- Improved Glossary - Not sure what a word on the site means? Then check the Glossary for a full explanation of a technical term.
- More Publications - Missed the conference where Landmap were presenting? Then view the most recent papers produced by the service in the publications section of the website.
- New Feature Collection - Includes Building Height and Building Class data for the main conurbations in the UK.
The site is continuously being improved and if there is any feedback that you would like to provide about the changes, or something omitted which you would like to see appear on the website please do contact the Helpdesk.
