Introduction - FAQ

Welcome to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section of the Landmap Service website. The aim of this section is to try and address any common queries or problems that users experience when using a new service. The FAQ's are split under the following six criteria:

• Data Archives - What is a data archive? What does the Landmap Service provide? Origins of the data?
• Access and Downloading - Finding an image? Obtaining the data? Gaining access?
• Unzipping Data - Once downloaded how do I decompress the data to use it?
• Using Data - Examples? Help? Tutorials?
• Acknowledging Data - How do I cite the imagery I used in a paper or other publications?
• Depositing Data - I have created new products from the data where can it be deposited for future use?
